Henry Manufacturing Limited is a New Zealand Company committed to finding low impact, non-residual solutions for insect and disease control in agriculture – be it horticulture, viticulture, hot houses or cropping – solutions that have been trialled and field tested in New Zealand, proven to work and are genuinely safe.
Our focus is to provide growers an alternative or a complement to conventional chemistry: a softer (low or nil toxicity) option for specific insect or disease issues while maintaining productivity and profit. Our work to date with Protectorhml has shown that equivalent control using organic options can be achieved on red grapes with some certainty.
We wish to assist with the necessary movement to more sustainable methods and improvements in industry best practice. We look for partnerships to facilitate this, be it a grower or other organisations ‘on the same page’.
Our aim is that wherever possible, our formulations will comply with international standards for organic food production. However for many reasons other than simple product formulation, full compliance is not always possible.
