Who we are
Henry Manufacturing Ltd is a family business. The company was established in 2003 to complete commercialisation of pesticide discoveries made in the early 1990s by Chris Henry.
The pesticide discoveries occurred when Chris was endeavouring to produce citrus of a high cosmetic standard within the organic standards laid down by BioGro™ and Demeter.
Chris began growing in the mid 1980s when he set up a commercial citrus orchard on an 11ha property at Awhitu (Manukau Harbour, South Head), Auckland. Third party scientific evaluation of both products began in the mid 1990s.
In more recent years, Chris has been involved in viticulture and remains directly involved in trialling and research over several crop types. His main function within the company is to provide technical support to growers and distributors.
